Q: I know I need help putting together a website/newsletter/e-book/document but I don't really know where to start. Can you guide me?Creative journeys are inherently ones of depth, substance and insight. Working together creatively draws us in closer, more intimately, into one another's field of awareness. It can feel a little vulnerable to share your inner world of ideas with someone new, and I understand that.
There is a simple process we'll walk through together, and you don't need to have it all figured out before we start. Once you reach out and let me know you'd like to connect, we set up a zoom chat or phone call to connect. Ask me as many questions as feels needed to get a sense if our energies are a good fit. As I learn about your project, I begin to break it down into sections we can work with. We begin with essential points: what's most needed, the feeling that we're looking to create, and the parameters we are creating within. As architects, it helps us to understand what's available to us. You may or may not fully know the answers yet, and we start with where you're at to put a plan together. I give you a little bit of homework to gather and collect, and will prompt you with meaningful questions so I can attune to your energy and signature. It's a step-by-step organic process that I guide you along to help the project take shape. Q: I don't have the headspace to deal with all the details of graphic work + tech. Can you keep it simple?Definitely :) Most of the clients tend to be in another headspace than one that requires tech focus. I handle the techy details with ease and professionalism, and keep things on the simple side.
While ideas and big visions are wonderful, we work with what the nervous system can handle, one step at a time. There is an organic flow to moving through creation, and I attune to what it is with you, keeping us in alignment with the less is more approach. Q: I want to be able to update my website or document easily on my own. Will I be able to take over the reigns?Absolutely. I use drop and drag-style platforms so clients can update their own work, or for future designers to be able to step in easily. There's no hefty coding or elaborate tech know-how, although myself or the team will handle the complexities of this for you in the beginning stages. Clients appreciate the focus on simple design aesthetics they can work with, versus trying to stay up-to-date with rapidly evolving tech.
Q: I'd appreciate a sliding scale fee. How does that work?Simply let me know. Clients know their financial situation best. I trust that those who can pay the full rate will, and those that need the support of a reduced rate will ask for it. We can work out an arrangement if need be.
Q: How do I know if you're going to write, create or design in a way that I like? The first step to assess whether our creative ideals align is to check out the portfolio page. If you appreciate what you see, we're off to a great start.
Next, the best way to get a sense of the potential together is to chat to get a feel for the energy we share. Let me know what your project is about, what your intentions or direction are, and what you'd like support with. Ask me as many questions as you'd like to get a feel for my working style and a sense of what may be possible for your project. I can also give you samples of past work to help you get a better sense. I'll let you know if I can meet you and how, or, point you in a direction that may be more in tune with what you're looking for. You can determine if the creative support I offer will align with where you're going. In terms of working together, I work intuitively as an empath and am connected to the larger field of 'you' while we're connected. I draw in elements that are beckoning to me and pare down the parts that are ready to be shed. Once we're fully in the dance of creating together, your feedback is a constant essential. As I write/edit/create for you, I turn the material over to you to get your thoughts and feeling sense. It might be a complete 'yay!' or an absolute 'nope', and is often a bit of both. As we're moving through fields of energy together, the content that comes through helps you to get clearer within yourself about where we're going and what wants to be seen. It can sometimes feel a little uncertain as past versions of you show up for release. We say thank you to it all, moving away from the stuff that feels off, and drawing in the elements that you'd like to see more of. The first feedback review is a pointer for the direction we'll be moving in. From there, we continue fine-tuning until the whole project sings. |
